Before you register as a city inspector
Before registering, you'll need:
- A government email address on your city or agency's official domain
- Your employee ID badge or another form of official employment verification
- Your supervisor's name and phone number, for verification

- You may only register for your own account. Registering on behalf of another person, or impersonating a city official, code enforcement officer, or inspector you are not, is prohibited.
- Do not use a shared or personal email address to register as a city inspector — only your official government email will be accepted for this role.
- Falsely representing yourself as a public officer or inspector is a criminal offense under California law (Penal Code §§ 146a and 529) and may result in prosecution, in addition to account termination.
- All registrations are subject to manual review, including a callback to your listed supervisor, before approval.
Before you register as a property manager
Before registering, you'll need:
- Your personal ID (badge, business card, or employment ID)
- The property you manage, or the property's manager email if you're joining an existing team
- A brief description of your role or affiliation with the property

- You may only register for your own account, using your own identity. Registering on someone else’s behalf, or misrepresenting your role or authority at a property, is prohibited and may result in account termination.
- Do not use a shared email address to register — a shared account cannot be reliably tied to one person, which this system relies on for accountability on every violation, comment, and status change.
- Submitting false information or fraudulent documents during registration may result in account termination and, depending on the nature of the misrepresentation, could expose you to civil liability.
- All registrations are subject to manual review before approval, including verification of the submitted identification.
